What's New in Blogtronix 3.5

• REAL-TIME ACTIVITY FEED - interactive activity feed allowing the user to quickly review recent group and connection content for events, documents and comments; and respond directly.
• USER DASHBOARD - the dashboard aggregates real-time activity and content from a user's work groups, connections and external RSS feeds.
• UNIVERSAL COMMENTS ENGINE - a new universal Comments Engine is shared between user content and real-time feeds. The Comments Engine auto-cleans HTML formatting, auto-detects URLs, and formats them as a clickable link.
• PreSEARCH (Real-time search) - the presearch engine autofills suggestions of possible search queries as the user enters information. This option is very helpful if proper spelling is in question, or for suggesting additional related search parameters.
• NEW WIKI - a brand new Wiki. Documents are organized into pages and subpages (no spaces or multi-level folders to create navigation nightmares). Multiple users can create, edit and comment (threaded commenting). Version control, comparison and recovery. Auto-save and most-recent author time/date stamping and notification feeds.
  New items in the Wiki include:
  • Empty pages - if a wiki page is empty there is a message that this is an empty page. There is a list with the subpage documents after the document table of content.
  • Email Notifications - an option controlled by the user sends individual email notifications for each document update in the wiki. Get only the specific individual notifications you want!
  • Modified Documents Indicator - indicates which subpages in the wiki were edited since the last time the user visited the wiki.
  • Drafts in Wiki - user is able to save a draft of a wiki.
  • Document Level Control - change the hierarchy level where a document resides.

  • Wiki Document Templates - create a page and use it as a template; expense reports, sales reports, checklists and more.
  • AutoSave - automatically saves a wiki document as you work, so all is not lost if you lose a connection or crash.
• SOCIAL ACTIVITY GRAPH - visual representation of a user's connections and the content they generate. A powerful tool to help you find and connect with a knowledgeable expert.
• MICROBLOGGING - integrated as a part of the activity feed for the posting of short messages.
• USER CREATED GROUPS - Users are allowed to create their own groups if permitted by system admin rights and permissions settings. Group settings are moved from the admin section to the public section and include multiple tabs/subpages.
• DOCUMENTUM INTEGRATION - the documents section of Blogtronix 3.5 is integrated with the Documentum enterprise content management system.
• AUTONOMY SEARCH INTEGRATION - the Blogtronix 3.5 search is integrated with Autonomy's Enterprise platform for an easier and more robust company-wide servers search.
• USER CARD - essential user information appears in a popup with mouse-over on the username.

• IMPROVED DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT - the user is able to move and copy/paste documents into different directories and groups.
• DYNAMIC USER PROFILES - user profile information is completely customizable by the system admin - add new fields, remove or rename existing fields. Profile information is easily integrated and populated with an LDAP.
• NEW UI - improvements to the system HTML/CSS. New default themes, more graphic elements, and widgets panels improvements.
• DRAG & DROP CUSTOMIZATION - edit your page layout with the click of a few buttons. Users and administrators can completely customize any page in their community by dragging and dropping modules.
• IMPROVED NEWSLETTERS - a group admin/moderator can save multiple posts for later review, and then with a few clicks of the mouse, create a newsletter from the pre-selected posts.
